Why didn’t I think of it sooner? I make these every Christmas for some friends and my family who love them but they are so difficult to pack in tins because they take up so much room and tips also tend to smash if you don’t allow lots of time for the chocolate to become solid again. This year it occurred to me to turn the kiss upside down. Voila! Now I can pack them easier. The dark chocolates were a bit easier to flatten as they softened up quickly once pressed into the warm cookie. They may not look as cute to the traditionalists, but just think—now I can fit more cookies in your tin!

Brittany S. Pierce, Glee, ‘Power of Madonna’
I was already hooked, but tonight I watched this rerun and it is probably one of my favorites. If you aren’t watching this, you should. Extremely creative, overtly and subtly hilarious—especially Brittany.
The Brazilian Blowout! I didn’t take a before shot but this is the after shot. After the painless treatment, my stylist simply blow dried my hair without even using a brush and this is the amazing result! Anyone who has worked with my hair or has seen it after a blow dry will vouch for me when I say this is nothing short of a miracle! There are only two—okay, three other things I can remember that had such impact on my every day life: 1) the first time I put glasses on in the fourth grade and I could actually see stuff, like individual leaves on a tree and I could read any street sign; 2), lasik surgery about thirty years later and I could see without Coke-bottle glasses and, 3)—Tivo!
This treatment is not permanent but should last three to four months! But still this is an incredible time saver. I could even consider the option of wash and wear! What? I have never known that!
The process took two hours in the salon (my hair is on the more time consuming end). First the stylist washed my hair and applied the product. She blew it dry and then flat-ironed section by section. After that she had to rinse my hair out (it looked all shiny and fab and it was weird to think after all that work we had to get it totally wet again). She applied a conditioner, rinsed and blow dried again.
